***Please note - we do not offer returns or exchanges for change of mind (unless deemed faulty from manufacturing). Our loupes are made to order and are custom with monograms. Once worn in clinic they cannot be returned.

However, it comes with a slightly reduced field of view and working distance. These are more suitable for those that have worn 2.5s previously. 2.I've never worn loupes before — which magnification should I choose?

If you're new to loupes or currently a student, we recommend starting with our 2.5x Smart. Loupes. They’re lightweight, easy to wear, and your eyes will adjust naturally to the magnification, making them perfect for beginners.
If you’re an experienced loupe user or require more detailed visibility for precision work, our 3.5x Smart. Loupes or Sport Loupes are a great choice for enhanced magnification and focus.
2. I've never worn loupes before — which magnification should I choose?
If you're new to loupes or currently a student, we recommend starting with our 2.5x Smart. Loupes. They’re lightweight, easy to wear, and your eyes will adjust naturally to the magnification, making them perfect for beginners.

Our loupes are designed to be worn without prescription lenses.
2. Are your safety glasses and loupes anti-fog?
Yes, our lenses feature anti-fog coatings to ensure clear visibility and durability in clinical environments. Make sure you clean with neutral detergent otherwise the coating will come away!
3. Do you sell loupe lights or accessories?
Yes, we offer loupe light bundles and accessories and replacement parts. View our accessories pagefor details.
3. Do other lights fit onto smart. Loupes?
We are not aware if they do sorry!

1. All the other brands have reps — how come you don’t?
We’re a proudly online, direct-to-you brand. That means no sales reps, no in-person fittings - just a simple, streamlined process: order and wear. Our loupes are designed for easy, self-guided use, and skipping the middleman helps us keep prices affordable.
If you’re looking for a fully guided buying experience with rep visits and consultations, we might not be the right fit — but if you want loupes that are comfortable, easy to order, and ready to go, you’re in the right place.
🛠 Warranty & Repairs
1. Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes, all Smart. products are backed by a 12 month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not cover accidental damage or wear and tear.
2. My product is damaged — can it be repaired?
Only on a case by case basis and if under warranty.

1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods via our website checkout.
2. Can I modify or cancel my order after it's been placed?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, we may be able to modify or cancel it. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Smart. Loupes was founded by a dental clinician based in Melbourne, Australia and is someone who still works chairside every day and understands the demands of clinical life firsthand. The brand began with a simple goal: to create affordable, easy-to-wear dental loupes (starting with OG Ultra Pink!) that meet the real needs of everyday practitioners.
